Therapy from a clinician who has carried real weight, too

For first responders, veterans, and medical personnel, therapy from a clinician who has actually worked in high-pressure environments — not just read about them.

A shared starting point

I've experienced sustained combat and high-pressure stress. I won't claim to know exactly what you've carried.

I served as an Army Combat Medic in the infantry, in environments where pushing through was expected and asking for help wasn't. That experience shapes how I show up in the room — but every job and every person's story is different, and I try not to assume mine maps onto yours. What I can offer is a clinician who has lived under sustained pressure, isn't easily rattled by hard details, and takes the culture of high-stakes work seriously.

  • Direct, honest, and focused on real change. Not endless talk therapy with no destination.
  • Confidential, and on your schedule. Telehealth means no waiting room to be seen in, and no one from work running into you.
  • Trained in EMDR — one of the most researched treatments for trauma and PTSD.

Common experiences

What often brings people here

Combat & critical-incident trauma

Deployments, line-of-duty incidents, or calls that never quite left you.

Hypervigilance

A nervous system that's stayed "on" long after the mission or shift ended.

Anger & a short fuse

Irritability at home that doesn't match how you show up at work.

Distance at home

Relationships that feel harder to be close in than they used to.

Burnout

Years of giving everything to the job with nothing left over for yourself.

Sleep disruption

A body that struggles to power down even when the shift is finally over.

You don't have to keep carrying this alone.

A free 15-minute consultation is a low-pressure way to see if this is a good fit.
